As a television programming executive, he worked at such companies as Fox Television Studios, NBC Universal’s Syfy Channel, Fox Sports Net and Game Show Network. He attended Junction City Elementary School (Grades K-8) and graduated there with a graduation class consisting of only 7 peers. Gauthier then attended Trinity High School and served as Student Body Vice President as a freshman. Zig later transferred schools, attending Oak Ridge High School during his sophomore year. Gauthier graduated 2nd in his class, serving as Co-Salutatorian for the class of 1989. Zig started living on his own during his junior year of high school at the age of 16.
